  The Background of My Application to NNR Global Logistics and the Reasons for Joining the company.

During my studies in Japan, I had a great time interacting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. This experience inspired me to seek a company where I could utilize my language skills in Chinese, Japanese, and English while building connections overseas. I applied to trading companies and international logistics firms, and the reason I chose NNR Global Logistics is because of the people. Mr. Tarumi, the General Affairs and Human Resources Manager, and Ms. Yamashita, the recruitment officer, were very kind.

  My thoughts on NNR GLOBAL LOGISTICS’S diversity initiatives

In my workplace, various values are respected. I tend to approach my work more aggressively compared to my Japanese colleagues, but the seniors around me respect my approach and encourage me, saying it is a good thing. I feel it is great to be able to work together as a member of the team in Japan, even though I am a foreign national. I was impressed to see that a senior colleague from abroad used the Overseas Training Program to go to Germany, and I think it is wonderful that everyone is treated equally regardless of nationality.

I was surprised to learn that the company has been hiring international students since the 1990s. I think it is impressive that they have been incorporating diversity for quite some time. Recently, I attended an event for new employees, and I noticed that there were several international students among those who will join next year. I felt that the company is actively promoting the hiring of international students. However, I only found this out after joining the company, so I believe it should be communicated more proactively during the recruitment phase.

  Advice for International Students Considering Working in Japan

I studied in Japan and wanted to work for a Japanese company that respects various values. Please work for a company that aligns with your own values.

  Future Goals and Career

Logistics often involves many irregularities, and I sometimes find myself in a panic. However, my seniors are there to support me and help me handle the situations together. As a short-term goal, I want to be able to teach and support junior colleagues just like my seniors do, offering guidance and assistance. For my long-term goal, I aspire to grow quickly and work overseas. To achieve this, I prioritize working diligently every day.
